As a programmer, and a mathematical & encryption hobbyist, I can tell you it's TOUGH to crack Starforce in it's current state. Sure as hell, the only physical discs I have to take, ever, are Starforce protected. I like to use mini-images & NO-CD cracks as it keeps me from having to take all my originals in my case with me.

I'm a big time game buyer, I personally own 139 PC games & a gaming laptop (Alienware Area 51m-7700). Starforce works VERY closely with the developers all along the way.

It can be worked around via a USB 2.0 external drive (which I have personally confirmed), or (reportedly) using a driver to force your SATA controller to emulate an IDE controller, but those are the only workarounds I have heard more than three people confirm.Įarlier versions of Starforce were crackable, but the time it takes us to crack and the time it takes them to patch vulnerabilities are disproportunate. Silent Hunter 3 and Splinter Cell 3 are both using the same, or very close, versions of Starforce. The downloadable Reloaded SH3 distribution is actually (supposedly) made from an unprotected release, meaning the data was somehow acquired before Starforce was applied.

Mods are a fantastic way to enjoy VR.I've just been informed (by a well informed source) that SH3 was never cracked at all. On top of its battle-tested VR mechanics, Outlier also promised five VR-centric weapons, elemental powers, and 50+ upgrades and modifiers to keep players coming back for more of its procedurally-generated levels set on an alien world. Outlier was a bit of a mixed bag when it launched on Steam Early Access. The single-player game borrows a good amount of locomotion mechanics from Stride, the studio’s 2020 “parkour-shooter” game that has users executing highflying jumps and dodges whilst blasting away with various guns. Thank you for giving the game a chance, and we hope you had some fun :) Your efforts and more than a year of hard work by our developers: all best practices from OUTLIER will find their application in our other existing games. After the launch, we realized that the effort to implement our initial vision of this game would be too big compared to the relatively small audience we were targeting.Īccording to our calculations, we would have to involve a significant part of the developement team to work on this project over the next 8-12 months with a low probability that the project will ever achieve at least financial self-sufficiency.
